"SHO" is known as Japanese calligraphy. "SHO" refers to an art form that uses traditional specialized tools such as ink, brushes, and inkstones to translate various designs and expressions of the "characters" themselves, which are originally tools and media for conveying ideas, onto paper or screens such as folding screens. In the global context, it is generally referred to as Japanese calligraphy and is recognized as a type of calligraphy by some researchers, designers, and collectors.

Japanese calligraphy artist
Academic researcher of Japanese Letters
Born in 1944 in Hokkaido, Japan. In 1964.
Exhibited in various exhibitions in Europe, Asia, South America, and more.
Served as a Professor at Hokkaido University of Education (Japanese calligraphy, 1975-2010), and also taught at SOAS, University of London, and Oxford University (in U.K., 1989-1990).
